A series of x-studio`s site-works are taking part, as case studies, of the report -The space between churches- (Rummet mellem kirkerne, Forstudier), made by Danish Architect Iben Degn. The preliminary studies are part of a research project consisting of mapping the potential of projects focused on how to keep medieval churches relevant and alive in a society, where the role of religion is changing. The report also suggests creating new non-religious spiritual spaces in between the medieval churches.
The preliminary research is funded by Dreyers Fond and Statens Kunstfond.
